GAINING ETERNAL LIFE

 

TEXT: John 5 vs 39-40

You study the Scriptures, because you think that in them you will find eternal life. And these very Scriptures speak about me! ⁴⁰ Yet you are not willing to come to me in order to have life.

So many study the scriptures thinking they will find eternal life in it. Though, the bible has keys to eternal life with Christ, we cannot have this life we crave for without embracing Christ which the bible speaks of. We may study the bible constantly but without accepting Christ and allowing Him to dwell in our hearts, we can never gain eternal life.
