COMPLETING YOUR SALVATION

 

Philippians 2 vs 12-13 

So then, dear friends, as you always obeyed me when I was with you, it is even more important that you obey me now while I am away from you. Keep on working with fear and trembling to complete your salvation, ¹³ because God is always at work in you to make you willing and able to obey his own purpose.

Anyone who is truly saved does not do anything that displeases God. We must complete our salvation by working it out with fear and trembling. We do this by continuous obedience and reverence to God.  We must not stop at the level of accepting Jesus into our lives. We are to build on that and strive towards pleasing God in all we do. 

As believers, we are to stay away from the things Christ has commanded us not to do and do only the things He wants us to do.

Remember, God is constantly working in you to do His will. Therefore, be encouraged and don't relent from doing what is good and pleasing to God.
