DOING WHAT IS APPROPRIATE

 

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 6 vs 12a

Just because something is technically legal doesn’t mean that it’s spiritually appropriate

 So many things may seem appropriate in the eyes of men but sincerely they are not in God's sight. Lots of theories have been made that men have accepted and in truth, this theories contradicts God's word. Example of such is "do me I do you, God no go vex". God's word says Vengeance is of the Lord and whosoever slaps your right cheek, turn the other side to him.We here people now call themselves the "Avengers" and are widely supported for their evil act of vengeance. Don't let your life be controlled by all these man-made theories.

Choose to please God and not theories propounded by men. God's word is their for us a guide in all we do (2 Timothy 3:16). Check to see that whatsoever you do or intend to do, has a spiritual backing by God's word. Let all your decisions and choices be based on what God calls appropriate and not on what the world accepts as appropriate. Whatever contradicts what is accepted by God avoid doing it.
