LIVING THE WORD

 

TEXT: John 8 vs 31-32

Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. “If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you.”

Knowing the truths contained in the bible alone does not set us free from the trap of sin. It is living the truths revealed in the bible in our daily lives ( i.e day-to-day activities) that actually proves that we are disciples of Jesus.
No matter what may come our way, no matter the situation or circumstance we find ourselves, let's stick with the word of God and never compromise our faith. Sticking with God's word is simply obeying what God says. By obeying God's word even in testing times, we show our maturity as believers and God will in turn grant us whatever we ask of Him (John 15:7)
